i'll tell you what they'll learn. they'll learn that they don't have to get out of their own messes even when it's totally their fault. getting hurt is a pretty strong incentive not to screw up again.
Yeah, but getting scolded by their parents for doing something stupid is also a good incentive not to screw up again, too. Also, saving mom and dad major medical bills = priceless. And what if they hit their heads and DIE? That's a pretty harsh lesson.
We all do stupid stuff, especially as kids. Besides, for all we know they were bullied up into that tree... they're little, so, they deserve help. And maybe this will be a lesson to the parents too, then, right?
I will do the right thing, and i'll feel 10/10 great. And then I'll go reward my good deeds with copious amounts of crepes :)
[ ... Honestly, for all his bluster, the fact that she's reaching out to help a random kid in need is kind of touching. He went through his own problems as a kid and felt like no one had his back, so it just feels like that's how it should be for everyone.
Shit. She's actually kind of cool. Shit. ]
you'll try >:D
you keep wearing your heart on your sleeve like that, it's gonna get bruised pretty easy. or are you really just looking for an excuse to stuff your face?
[ Unfortunately, Yamada is pretty much allergic to conveying his emotions in a healthy sort of way. ]
[ She gets it, in a way, too. Mostly. She's not the most popular person in the world, and up until Shiho, her time in Japan hadn't been The Best. Up until the rest of her friends, too, and she'd let way too much shit go unchecked, but that's all in the past now. Even if it's just a couple of kids stuck in a tree, leave no stone un-turned or... something like that. ]
i'll try and succeed, just wait!! >)
A few bruises never hurt anyone. That's how we grow and learn, blah blah blah. But it IS a good excuse to cram unnecessary calories down my throat, so really, it's a win win!
i mean, can't you get someone else to buy them for you? you've got good looks. i'm sure it can't be hard to get some free food out of it. or is that kinda thing ~beneath you~?
wow, that's nice of you to say, thanks! but also like, i've got my own money or whatever so there's no point. unless one of my friends offers, i mean, like hell i'm going to turn that down
[ listen she's got no shame in running AkiraRen around on random quests for crepes and other sweet shit, okay ]
what? nice?? haha no, no, i just meant that lots of women like to use their looks to coax men into giving them what they want.
[ rude misogyny, or just pure defensiveness? who knows, maybe a little of both. half of his childhood trauma stems from some girl troubles, the roots run deep ]
but i guess you really do have some dignity! not bad, i'll admit.
oh! yeah, i've noticed that. kind of a shitty thing to do, though, don't you think? i know someone personally who does that.
[ And she's a stupid, conniving bitch, but, details! ]
thanks! i just feel like if you have your own money, you should buy your own stuff, right? i mean, unless like, you're on a date or whatever, but i don't know what the protocol on that is.

you seriously care that much? i mean, let's face it if the parents were doing their job the kid probably wouldn't be alone stuck in a tree, right?
well, whatever. it's your time being wasted, i guess. go do the rIgHt ThInG and feel all warm and fuzzy if you have to. i don't care.
