There’s Something I Need You to Know
Please don’t cancel me

Everyone has their secrets. Some are bigger than others, but it may be any number of things that are weighing down on your conscience. One night, whether it induced by lack of sleep, alcohol consumption, or some supernatural force, you decide to come out with it once and for all. It’s time to confess.

Directions:
1. Post a TL with your character name and canon in the subject line. You can either leave your TL blank for others to come confess, or you can put a confession in your top level. Your character’s confession can be anything from “I killed someone” to “I’m in love with my best friend” to “I’ve never eaten chocolate and vanilla swirl ice cream”. Any and all confessions are welcome - in fact, feel free to put a few different ones in your TL if you want people to pick and choose!
2. Respond to other people’s TLs with either your character’s own confession, or with a response to their’s.
3. Be respectful, follow basic dwrp meme rules, etc.!

Open to all fandom characters, OCs, AUs, CRAUs, etc.. Tagging around is highly encouraged!

i just wanted to check in on you. hadn't seen you in a few days, and you never respond to normal texts

[She’s not wrong though. Whelk rarely responds to anyone’s texts during the waking hours should he even receive them. After leaving Aglionby, his phone number had changed and only a rare few had sought to find out the new number. He’d rejected those rare few. TenTen was insistent when he started public school, so he’d taken her number down and then once texted it in the middle of the night when he couldn’t sleep. Ever since then, it’s been a go to when the voices get too loud. He and his mother’s apartment is a dreary place after 12am.]

Why aren’t you sleeping? It’s a school night.

[ Smiling down at her phone, the girl quickly sent him the picture she'd just taken of the city scape from her rooftop perch. ]

Because. There's supposed to be a meteor shower in about an hour, and I've run out of caffeine to keep me up.

[ And she assumed that there was a good chance he'd be up and willing to keep her entertained long enough to last that last hour. ]

You know, I’ve heard about this supposed meteor shower. There’s a group of kids from our class going out to the camp grounds at North edge of town to watch it.

Why aren’t you there with them right now?

if youre talkin about the astronomy club, theyve already asked. and i said no because id rather not make it a school thing.

besides, i think my view is tons better.

I truly mean it when I say that I don't know why I keep talking to you.

[Probably because he is very lonely, and very mean, and TenTen keeps letting him talk to her anyway, which is a hard thing to find these days now that he doesn't have money to make up for his shitty personality.

[She could also definitely kick his ass, which makes his stomach feel a little weird.]

[He types out "don't tempt me", but then deletes it, because sometimes he feels like he gets dangerously close to actually ensuring she'll never want to speak to him again. He then, of course, feels like a pathetic moron for even considering being upset at the idea that that might happen. His feelings toward TenTen (pronounced: himself) are...complicated.

[He feels like he might be starting to piss her off, which kind of makes him want to keep going, but he decides to pull it back anyway.]
