Everyone has their secrets. Some are bigger than others, but it may be any number of things that are weighing down on your conscience. One night, whether it induced by lack of sleep, alcohol consumption, or some supernatural force, you decide to come out with it once and for all. It’s time to confess.

Directions:
1. Post a TL with your character name and canon in the subject line. You can either leave your TL blank for others to come confess, or you can put a confession in your top level. Your character’s confession can be anything from “I killed someone” to “I’m in love with my best friend” to “I’ve never eaten chocolate and vanilla swirl ice cream”. Any and all confessions are welcome - in fact, feel free to put a few different ones in your TL if you want people to pick and choose!
2. Respond to other people’s TLs with either your character’s own confession, or with a response to their’s.
3. Be respectful, follow basic dwrp meme rules, etc.!

Open to all fandom characters, OCs, AUs, CRAUs, etc.. Tagging around is highly encouraged!

That may be overstating it a little. I wouldn't say I took away any valuable lessons aside from the fact that losses happen, which is easily forgotten during prolonged periods of nothing but success.

It's also a very, very small comfort.

Tell it to the part of my brain that decided now was an excellent time for existential crises.

[As always, being called Shiba sets his teeth on edge... but after dealing with Tendou for two years, he's learned when to assert himself and when there's just no point. why do you think you would've become a terrible person if you guys won that match?

Right after Karasuno scored the winning point, I remember seeing everyone crumple and sag as the realization set in. It felt like I was watching from somewhere else, not my own body, and I remember I couldn't understand why they were giving up. Even as they started to cry I couldn't connect one event to the other.

The reality of having lost in that situation... in any situation, but especially in the run-up to nationals and against such a nothing team... it couldn't sink in. More than anything, I just felt confused.

I've been in denial before, I know that much. It takes conscious effort and you never completely fool yourself. This wasn't denial.
