So, your reputation precedes you, and maybe that isn’t the best thing. People make their judgments about you before even getting to know you, and you’re sick of it. It’s time to set the record straight once and for all. Or maybe you just want to lay to rest some common misconceptions about your profession, hobbies, lifestyle, etc.. This is the place to do it.

Directions:
1. Post a TL with your character name and canon in the subject line, and use the top level to address a common misconception about your character - or at least what they consider to be a misconception; include preferences in top level of desired
2. Post around on other characters’ top levels, responding to the misconception they address, whether that be disagreeing, calling them out, learning more, or just chatting

Anything anyone says may as well be an opinion. If you disagree, then say so.

Dudes, not all french cuisine is fancy nor do all of us drink wine. I'm underage for it. You have to be 16 to be able to legally drink wine, and 18 for the harder stuff. Pizza is a thing and you can have frog legs deep fried like chicken.

Well, for starters, it can be used to teach manners. But I suppose I can let that slide this time.

Magic, young man, can do almost anything, as long as a commensurate risk or sacrifice is taken in creating the effect you wish to achieve. Risking everything to achieve the impossible can create a miracle, whether unfathomable wealth, resurrection of the dead, or attaining true love.

He’s not terribly interested in true love or resurrection, and he has quite enough wealth to go around (at least for now), but even so, it’s good information to have. Risk or sacrifice, this woman says. It’s not unlike the advice he’s already come across in his research, but that advice has thus far been terribly vague.]
