It's as the tagline says. Maybe you want to be here - have a few laughs, get to know some new people, make new friends, maybe take someone home - or, maybe you don't. Either way, you're here, complete with a name tag, a list of preferences, and a mysterious magical force that's keeping you from leaving. Whether compelled to sit at your table and wait for your next match, or to visit tables yourself, it's time to partake in a thrilling game of speed dating. And no, you don't have a choice, so you might as well make the most of it.

How to Play:
- Make a top level with your character name and canon in the subject line. Include in your top level what's written on your character's tag. You may use this format if you wish:

Feel free to assume that your character filled it out themselves, or that it was magically filled out for them when they arrived and they aren't able to remove it. Whatever suits your character best!

- Assume your character is either seated at a table awaiting matches, freely exploring the room, or being propelled by some otherworldly force to mingle. That is to say, tag around to other top levels and speed date away!

- It may be a good idea to put in your top-level some preferences for whether you are looking for shippy threads, friendship threads, funny threads, etc.. whatever you'd like!

- Tag around, have fun, be respectful, follow basic dwrp rules, etc.!

Investigating this world is a part of my assigned mission, yes. It seems that this event is linked to the purpose of this world, which is why I'm participating in it.

[ his smile turns into a small frown when she tells him that her participation is part of a mission. ] What are you investigating for?

[ Given an opportunity to share the knowledge she's obtained, Ciel perks up, excitement visible in her eyes. ]

I have learned about a type of personality where a person appears uncaring and dismissive of others, and sometimes even rude and temperamental, but at their core they're very sweet and loving. It's called "tsundere". I believe my superior, Labe-san, might be one of those.

[ She nods solemnly, clearly believing every word of that to be true. Makes one wonder what kind of magazines she's been reading. ]

This world appears to be an enclosed space created for the purpose of realizing a specific person's wish. We call these kinds of worlds "Phantom Fields". My purpose is to investigate the reason behind their creation and find a way to resolve them, so that the world is returned to its original state.

[ She explains her mission without skipping a beat, as though that subject is somehow more mundane than learning about fictional character tropes (though to be fair, it really kind of is from her perspective). ]

huh. suddenly he leans forward on the table, not quick or close enough to alarm her, but enough for him to whisper a question that no one else would overhear: ]

An alien... an extraterrestrial form of life. Their existence is yet to be confirmed, but they're a common subject of science-fiction productions, such as books and movies.

[ She recites that definition in an almost robotic monotone ─ mostly for herself, to ensure she understands the question. Once she determines she doesn't fit the description, she gives him a smile and a reassuring nod. ]

Please rest assured, Yuji-san! I may have come from a different world, but I most definitely originate from Earth.

[ whoa, that's so cool how she recites what an alien is in an almost robotic tone...! like she's reading it off from somewhere. yuji almost looks over his shoulder like maybe a screen had somehow appeared that was showing her what to say— but, wait.
