It's as the tagline says. Maybe you want to be here - have a few laughs, get to know some new people, make new friends, maybe take someone home - or, maybe you don't. Either way, you're here, complete with a name tag, a list of preferences, and a mysterious magical force that's keeping you from leaving. Whether compelled to sit at your table and wait for your next match, or to visit tables yourself, it's time to partake in a thrilling game of speed dating. And no, you don't have a choice, so you might as well make the most of it.

How to Play:
- Make a top level with your character name and canon in the subject line. Include in your top level what's written on your character's tag. You may use this format if you wish:

Feel free to assume that your character filled it out themselves, or that it was magically filled out for them when they arrived and they aren't able to remove it. Whatever suits your character best!

- Assume your character is either seated at a table awaiting matches, freely exploring the room, or being propelled by some otherworldly force to mingle. That is to say, tag around to other top levels and speed date away!

- It may be a good idea to put in your top-level some preferences for whether you are looking for shippy threads, friendship threads, funny threads, etc.. whatever you'd like!

- Tag around, have fun, be respectful, follow basic dwrp rules, etc.!

Anyone and everyone is welcome, including fandom characters, fandom OCs, canon OCs, AUs, CRAUs, etc.! Feel free to spread the word and thanks for playing!

You can learn life lessons from playing. I learned about the importance of teamwork. And that if you practice hard enough for something, you can get better.

[D33 raises his eyebrows a bit, seeming to consider this.]

If the purpose of the sport is to increase your ability to work alongside teammates in an effective manner, than you simply should have said that. It hardly seems a recreational activity if that is the case.

[Sometimes people enjoy the things they do for work, a phenomenon which D33 cannot relate to, but does have a basic understanding of. Even so, that doesn't make the work any less work. What a round about way of saying that something is an exercise in increasing one's skill.

[As for the life lesson rubbish, he could do just as well without that. It sounds like something Royce would sneer at him while doing something otherwise ridiculous.]

The affects of practice on a skill are no doubt invaluable.

Does it provide decent physical exercise as well? It sounds as though it may.

[ Tobio kind of zones out when D33 starts talking and using big words. He only manages to retain a few things here and there.

Yes. I try to keep in shape so that I can do better during games.

[Well, D33 thought he had been following, but then Kageyama circles back around, seeming to claim that the benefit of exercise only precipitated more...volleyball.

The purpose of winning is so that you and your team can keep playing and go up against stronger teams.

[ Basically, the point of winning is to keep playing until you've reached the end. Tobio doesn't really care for things like glory. He just wants to play. ]

[D33 does not understand even a little bit. He thought he did, and then he thought he didn't, and now he's sure he doesn't. What in the world is this boy going on about?]

I use my time to increase my skill. It's not about what I like to do.

Time is to be utilized.

Various in the areas of combat and physical endurance, of course.

We incorporate several forms of martial arts into our training, but no, I am not in any such "club" as you've mentioned.
