But You're Here!

It's as the tagline says. Maybe you want to be here - have a few laughs, get to know some new people, make new friends, maybe take someone home - or, maybe you don't. Either way, you're here, complete with a name tag, a list of preferences, and a mysterious magical force that's keeping you from leaving. Whether compelled to sit at your table and wait for your next match, or to visit tables yourself, it's time to partake in a thrilling game of speed dating. And no, you don't have a choice, so you might as well make the most of it.

How to Play:
- Make a top level with your character name and canon in the subject line. Include in your top level what's written on your character's tag. You may use this format if you wish:
<b>Name:</b> <b>Age:</b> <b>Preferences:</b> (insert here either sexual preferences, whether you're looking for friendship/romance, or both) <b>About me:</b>
Feel free to assume that your character filled it out themselves, or that it was magically filled out for them when they arrived and they aren't able to remove it. Whatever suits your character best!

- Assume your character is either seated at a table awaiting matches, freely exploring the room, or being propelled by some otherworldly force to mingle. That is to say, tag around to other top levels and speed date away!

- It may be a good idea to put in your top-level some preferences for whether you are looking for shippy threads, friendship threads, funny threads, etc.. whatever you'd like!

- Tag around, have fun, be respectful, follow basic dwrp rules, etc.!

Anyone and everyone is welcome, including fandom characters, fandom OCs, canon OCs, AUs, CRAUs, etc.! Feel free to spread the word and thanks for playing!

but what would he say? presumably he means if someone asks him what a phantom thief is. maybe this is an opportunity to practice what he'll say to any other potential suitors. Ryuji grins. ]

You got it! I'm gonna wreck your expectations then! [ there's a pause as Ryuji contemplates how to tackle this challenge. "be yourself, huh?" well he can do that anywhere and besides, he probably won't win Ren over like that. and then, he has an idea. whether it's a good one or a bad one is up for debate, but it's certainly an Idea.

[ please still think he's cool after this. ]

[God may be sighing, but Ren is snickering. He puts a hand to his chest, pretending to swoon a little. Nailed it. He then gestures for Ryuji to keep going.]

[ that worked? and he's being enabled? Ren's such a good friend and Ryuji can't help but laugh softly at the theatrics of it all. but now he has to think of some other good ones to use. how can he possibly keep the momentum from such a killer first line going?

[ and then Ryuji pulls out his phone, handing it over to Ren. ]

Hey man, I think I lost my number. Ya think I can have yours?

[ yeah that'll get hi— wait what? ]

[Sad trombone noises as Ren ceases to be a good friend.]

[ hear that? that's the sound of his heart breaking a little. ]

[ alright! Ryuji's back in the saddle. he should get an award or something for all his hard work. after all, pimpin' ain't easy, and Ryuji's putting in overtime right now. hey Ren? how's about treating a guy to a burger later? or maybe some manju. or— maybe he's getting ahead of himself.

he still has to totally woo the guy first. and then he can celebrate. maybe this next one will be enough to bring it on home then. ]

Speakin' of exams. Are you a high test score? 'Cause I wanna take you home and show ya to my mom.
